The 18th Ordinary Congress of Kocaeli Trabzon Culture and Solidarity Association took place today. The current president, Fuat Ayar, who has been president for 4 years, did not run for re-election at the congress in accordance with the two-term rule. At the congress, where Ayar was not a candidate, İbrahim İbrahimoğlu, the name determined by the advisory board, entered the election as the only candidate. At the congress, where 380 members had the right to vote, 25 board members, 3 audit board members and 3 disciplinary board members were elected.

We had a lot of projects in our minds. Pandemics and earthquakes have been difficult processes. We did some of it, but we couldn't do some of it. We provided support to the earthquake zone. We told our current friends what our past friends taught us. There were institutions that supported us. Our Metropolitan, Gölcük, Kartepe and Derince Municipalities supported us. “We thank everyone,” he said. Gölcük Mayor and Derince Mayor Zeki Aygün made a greeting speech.
“MY BEING FROM TRABZON IS OLD”Former deputy prime minister Fikri Işık said, “We would like to thank the presidents and administrations of Trabzon who have served since the establishment until today. My being from Trabzon is a bit old. Gümüşhane was a district of Trabzon until 1923. Gümüşhane people are from old Trabzon. I am also from Trabzon as a spouse. I am pleased to be among you. The geography of the Black Sea is ingrained in the nature of the Black Sea people. Two characteristics of the people of Trabzon are indisputable. One is his patriotism, the second is his hard work. If you are not hardworking, you cannot survive. Under those geographical conditions, neighbors need everything from their neighbors. It is not surprising that one of the most important non-governmental organizations in Kocaeli is Trabzon. We are also from Kocaeli. We are responsible for passing our culture on to future generations. "We wish success to our new colleagues," he said.
“IT HAS ESTABLISHED A SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PLACE IN KOCAELİ”Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Mustafa Soydabaş, said, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are everywhere. FEDERATION CALLSami Durmuşoğlu, one of the previous presidents of the Kocaeli Trabzonians Association, said, “There are 21 associations under the name of Trabzon in Kocaeli. We do not have a federation. As the Kocaeli Trabzon People's Association, it is necessary to become a stronger federation. "I promise the president and the new administration that I will do everything I can in this regard," he said.
