IT WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF THE YEAR
Speaking at the meeting, Büyükakın said, “Earthquake is one of the main problems of Kocaeli. We are scanning these 160 thousand buildings. Experts in their fields from Gebze University and Kocaeli University provide support to this screening. The entire technical team sat down and worked with the Chamber of Civil Engineers. We will complete the inspection of 160 thousand buildings by the end of the year.
IT IS A VERY SERIOUS COST
When you want to transform around 100 thousand flats, there will be a cost of 100 billion liras. This is a very serious cost. In this sense, we will need a budget as a municipality. In this sense, we paid 4 billion of the municipality's 6 billion debt in 4.5 years. We paid the remaining 2 billion in fixed installments.
OUR FINANCIAL STRUCTURE HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED
Previously, 25 percent of our income was cut. It would be safe to say that it is not being cut now. Our financial structure has become stronger. Secondly, we could not borrow money. In this way, we had the opportunity to borrow in the range of 30-35 billion. Having the opportunity to borrow from our 30 billion budget will give us the chance to lead this work. We will have the chance to help risky areas.
WE SHOULD TURN IT INTO AN OPPORTUNITY
We cannot find a place to park or build a road. While around 3 million daily trips are made today, this will increase to 8 million by 2035. "Then we need to turn preparing for the earthquake into an opportunity to solve parking, road problems and congestion, and aesthetic problems," he said.
GEBZE METRO IS COMPLETED
Touching on the issue of transportation in the continuation of his speech, Büyükakın said, “We plan to complete the Gebze Metro within 1 year. We took our steps in the Körfez-Kartepe Metro project. It will be a project involving 4 districts. There will be a total investment of 2.2 billion dollars for 35 kilometers. They are making tender preparations. "The tender will be made by the summer," he said.
TRAFFIC PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED
Referring to the traffic congestion in Başiskele, especially in the morning and evening hours, Büyükakın said, “There is road congestion near Naila Cafe. There is traffic congestion on the way to Izmit in the direction of Karamürsel. We waited for the highways to build it. Finally we took over. At the end of our work, we finished the project.
THERE WILL BE ADDED TO THE BOULVAR
The cost of the project will reach 2 billion lira and we expect the work to last 2 years. There is a roundabout to Başiskele Municipality and a roundabout to Karamrüsel. We will start the work from Naila and the military lodges. "We will solve the traffic problem in the region by making additions from Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard," he said.

We created our youth and women's branches. "We continue our activities in an inclusive manner," he said.
